You don't have gold account? Are you sick of waiting 15 minutes or more to download one file? Then here are some tips for you.

Imagine this situation - you have to download a game or a movie from rapidshare and there are like 12 parts of it. And after downloading one part, you have to wait 15 minutes to download the other one.

Also, if you are in local network under one HUB (rooter), which, for example, i have, you share the same IP with other ten, twenty or more people. Why is that? Internet sites see your router IP (rooter IP) and don't see your inner IP (your IP in the local network). And imagine this - you want to download something without gold account from rapidshare for example. You click the link. And what you see? "Your IP ***.***.***.*** is already downloading a file". Makes you kind of sick, isn't it?

So i was wondering how to solve this problem without buying a gold account. And i came up with idea. Though for real, it happened accidently when I was googling random stuff. But it doesn’t matter anyways.

I've found a thing called a "proxy server". You probably heard of it too but you didn't see it from other side. But i suggest using not common proxy server, but an anonymous proxy server. Why? I'll start with what a proxy server is. To be short - it's giving you it's IP. Pretty cool, huh. But what's the resemblance between ordinary proxy server and anonymous one? Well if you're using a common proxy server, any site that you visit can see proxy server's IP and your IP too. And when you are using anonymous proxy server site only sees IP of the proxy server. Anyways, enough of the theory. Let's see how it works for real.

At first google "free proxy server list". You'll find some sites with a gigantic mass of proxy servers. Then, you need to check them. The checking program should be on the same site, where the proxy servers are. This program will show is the server online and what kind of server is it. We need "anonymous proxy server".

If you found a working one write it down in your browser. If you don't know where it is or how to use it just google it. For example "proxy Firefox".

Then check it. How do you do that? Just load a random site. Because not every checked proxy works fast and some take like 10 minutes to load a page.

Anyways, if your proxy works pretty good, go to your rapidshare link. And what a surprise, you can download that file now! But there are also situations that somebody is using that proxy too. Well, just find another proxy server.

And even if you're downloading one file, you can switch your proxy server to another one and download once more. Like 10 files at a time. Cool, isn't it?
